How Bengali Bites began

Bengali Bites started the way most great food does — in a family kitchen, surrounded by the smell of spices and the sound of sizzling oil. What began as cooking for family gatherings and community events quickly turned into something much more.

Friends and neighbours kept asking: “Where did you get these from?” And so Bengali Bites was born — a small, family-run frozen food business bringing authentic Bengali snacks to homes across Reading and beyond.

Every product we make is prepared by hand using the same recipes our family has treasured for generations. No shortcuts, no factory lines — just real food made with real care.
